Thinking of my sister!

She has had an incredible experience living "down under" for the past two years, but I am ready to get her back!!! I wish we could have made down there for a visit, but it just didn't happen. Fortunately, we have been able to share in her experiences and live a bit vicariously through her.
Right now she is finishing up work and packing like crazy. She is also hosting a good old friend of her and her friend's daughter for a bit. Needless to say, her life is a bit on the hectic side. But, soon enough (according to my counter, only 12 days and 45 minutes) she arrives back home!!!
And just so you can get a taste of some of the adventures she has had, here's a little list she posted on her blog:
Malaysia
Singapore
Newcastle
Thredbo Ski resort (really needed lessons, couldn't ski to save my life that day)
Blue Mountains
Brisbane
Mackay
Brampton Island (awesome week alone on a secluded Whitsunday island)Gladstone
Rockhampton
Bondi Beach
Hong Kong
Seoul Korea
Tokyo Japan
Manly Beach
Byron Bay
Fiji (fabulous Fortieth in Fiji with friends)
Manila, Philippines
Malaysia
Canaberra
Woolongong
Melbourne
Hobart
Adelaide
Kangaroo Island
Christchurch, New Zealand
Queensland, New Zealand
Alice Springs
Darwin
Manila, Philippines
Corregidor - Famous World war II location, incredible day grateful for what I learned of the great sacrifices made for us all.
That's two years of living folks!!! I would be lying if I didn't admit I was a bit envious, I love to travel and that looks like a pretty exciting itinerary.
But, I am so happy to get her back! My kids are so excited to get their Auntie back and my mom is pretty happy about having her daughter home again, safe and sound!
Looking sooooooo forward to your return, Debbie!
Love Ya!
ps: here's a little Oingo Boingo just for you!
