Last Friday was another Nickel Auction, and I wouldn't blog about it again, but this one was a little different.
But before I get into that, look at what I brought for the treat ...
This is really fun for me to look at since I am going without sugar this week ... grrrrrrr!
So, back to the nickel auction, it was mostly like the others, good friends, good food ...
... ladies happy to get out for a little bit ...
... some really great deals (this baby swing sold for a few dollars) ...
... AND ... a camera from the local news station ...
... with the reporter covering our little get together ...
(That's Brooke from Studio 5 whispering to Janet ... wonder what they were talking about.)
They got up close and personal, hope Sandra didn't mind!
Yeah, we made the local news!
Wahoo!
It will be on Friday afternoon on KSL, we don't know if it will be in the 4 pm or 6 pm news yet. I'll update if I find out!
And my thoughts ... I can't remember if you gain 1o pounds with the camera, or lose 10 pounds ... I'm gonna be mad if the 10 pounds I just lost come right back on! ;)
Funny thing, I had to fight for this Faucet Froggie, so if Kim's baby ends up cracking his head open in the tub someday, it's on me ... at least that's what Kim said ;)

I'm so glad someone was fighting over our deprived froggy. I thought it was a great idea...but my boys would only pull it off and so it never served it's proper function. :o)

I watched Studio 5 almost every day I was at home. I'm back at work now so I'm going to miss it today! I hope they have the video footage online. I really like Brooke. Is she as nice in person? Anyway, this looks like it was a ton of fun. I could use some GNO myself!

Wow, you guys made the news? I loved those pics, but it did make me little sad to see all of you cool people I don't get to live by anymore! I missed the news but want to learn more about the nickel nights. Sounds like something I actually might be able to afford!
