Aunt Debbie wanted to join us for Muffin Tin Monday today ... which ended up being a fun little coincidence. The theme this week was the Fourth of July ... which to me means celebrating America - YAY! And since Debbie just moved back to American Soil, it was good to have her with us. I dressed the kids in the t-shirts she picked up for them at Old Navy.
Like usual, I like to keep the meals a bit of a surprise, so I made the kids wait and wait and wait until it was done ... then they had to come in with their eyes closed:
The meal itself consisted of red white and blue pasta salad, red white and blue veggie chips, firecracker breadsticks AND the winning item ... blueberry and strawberry parfaits!
Everything was a hit except for the veggie chips... to which The Boy requested, "Mom, don't make these again!" (ha!) Glad I didn't make them, but personally, they were a winner for me!
Welcome Back to America Debbie ...
We're so glad you are back!
