A Spark from Another

"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us."
~ Albert Schweitzer
I had two things come together this past week that ended up inspiring me and becoming my Sunday Citar.
1st - I received the book, "The Flavor Bible" in the mail. It started out with this quote in the opening pages. It's meaning hit me as I read it and has stuck with me over the past few days.
Then,
2nd - My sister posted this photo that I have snatched shared from her blog. She just spent the last few weeks in Connecticut starting a Master's of Fine Arts. Her instructor is the gentleman in the photo that is very animated and the obvious center of attention. He is explaining a few things about his own works and inspirations, wouldn't you like to be in that class? This is what Debbie thought about it all.
It is such a pleasure to find inspiration in our daily lives ... I know when I hit a case of the Doldrums, it is usually through someone else's efforts that my flame gets going again.
I have a heart full of gratitude for everyone who brings beauty and inspiration into this world, whatever form it takes!

This is a wonderful quote and it is very true. There are many whose light is often rekindled by another person! It happens to me often!
