Muffin Tin Monday - NY, ND, KY, IA, WY

So, we are moving on with our states. Today's tin (which we had for dinner) consisted of:

Kentucky Fried Chicken
Iowa corn
(Bert though it should have been Nebraska for the corn)
North Dakota Wheat rolls
Wyoming shaped cheese
(okay - a little lame - but I was out of time and ideas)
and, of course ...
New York Cheesecake

It really is fun to talk about the states during dinner - where they are, what the weather is like, what they grow, all sorts of fun things ... we aren't really going with at this with any rhyme or reason, but it still works. And I am excited about some of the fun dishes I am going to try with some of the upcoming states ...
Baked Alaska anyone??? (muffin tin size, of course)

Check out other tins at

The best part of dinner ... these two being so cute together, rubbing their heads together like kittens or something ... I love them! (And yes, I know my baby needs a haircut, I just can't quite bring myself to take him in ... the last one was so sad!)
