“Childhood is a short season.”
~ Helen Hayes
So is Spring!
(well - in Utah, at least)
Two of my most favorite things in the entire world share that regrettable trait, which is, being
MUCH TOO SHORT!
They are both such a vital element in the grand scheme of things ... we couldn't have summer without the work done by spring, and we can't enter adulthood without being children first. Springtime and childhood are times of great importance and growth and beauty, and yet, end up just a twinkle in our thoughts. And, though short-lived, they leave our hearts and minds full of wonderful memories. Thank heavens for that!
Anyhow, trying not to wax philosophical, because that would just be, well, not very fun. And, it would probably make me cranky. Instead - here are some moments of my kids being kids on a lovely Utah spring day!
(And let me clarify that this is Northern Utah ... the second Bert gets a job in Southern Utah, I'm packing us up and we'd be GONE!!!)
And, if you want to check out other thoughts and photos, go HERE!

... Happy Easter ...
Hoping your day is beautiful and meaningful, as it should be!
(That is my hope for me, at least.)

This post was wonderful! I loved the images. And the quote. Perfect. It really does fly by in the blink of an eye, doesn't it? It just flies.
I never believed my Mom when she said it would go by so fast until I looked down and thought... where did the time go?
What a fun egg hunt!
