I don't mean to go on and on about my sister-in-law (please read about what she did - really - it will be worth your time), but I have learned so much from her experience. She made the choice to invest her humanity in a huge endeavor, and she did it! It took a lot of work, but it did a great deal of good. With the effects of evil being so visible in our society today, there is a great need to invest more and more of our humanity into good things, we need to make humanity visible and not let it just hide in the sidelines. We all can be strengthened and uplifted by each others hope and goodness.
So, I am now on the lookout for ways to invest my humanity and I am very determined to go to bed each night knowing that I did something to love another.
