What a fun theme!
We expanded it to include a few other things that "GO" and this is what our lunch consisted of:
- Train tracks (pretzel sticks stuck together with bark coating)
- Pickle and olive car
- Phyllo dough "paper" airplane
- Banana Boat
- and a UFO (which I'll explain now)
The UFO's were made with my fun little brownie pop pans that I just bought. I love all things brownie and had to give these a try. The first time I used them I sprayed them with a cooking spray and it didn't work. I had a pan full of brownie clumps, but no cute brownie pops.
This time I coated each mold cavity with BUTTER. I left one pan with just plain butter. The second pan had a light coating of cocoa on the butter. And the third pan had sugar.
And the results:
The Butter and Cocoa both came out very well, but the cocoa had a much deeper color of brown - that always works for me!
Now I can't wait to use these pans for a muffin tin lunch!
