Muffin Tin Christmas Story

Merry Christmas!

This week was a wonderful theme for Muffin Tin Monday - create a tin based on a Christmas Book. I chose the book "Jacob's Gift" by Max Lucado. It is a beautiful story and the tin was very fun to put together.

The story is about a young carpenter apprentice who ends up making the "cradle" for the baby Jesus. It teaches us that we are given gifts and when we share those gifts with those around us, it is as though we shared them directly with God. And, that by giving to others, we are giving to God. What a great message for this time of year.

So, I pulled certain elements from the book and made this tin:

This tin consisted of:
a saw quesadilla ... a soda cracker "cradle" ... a carrot/apple hammer
sawdust pudding ... sweet potato stars ... and graham cracker rulers
