“The key to enjoying cooking is embracing simplicity. Simplicity in food is honesty, warmth, pleasure, modesty, even fairness. Simplicity in cooking is ease and grace. … Simplicity … is not a compromise but a treasure.”
~ Mark Bittman
Yesterday I (finally) participated in a food coop and came home with this. It was so beautiful I just had to set it all out on my table and look at it. Then, once The King started calling the tomatoes "balls" and started throwing them down the stairs, things were quickly put away! Now they sit in my fridge and my fruitbasket and my head is busy trying to figure out recipes and meal plans so that all that earthly goodness gets into our bodies - SOON!

Great song, cute picture, perfect quote! It was fun spending a few times catching up on your blog. Have a super week!
WOW....an amazing bounty! Enjoy all of natures yummys!
Looks delicious!! One day you and Julie will have to explain this whole food coop thing to me, because I'm confused on what exactly it is:)
This must be Bountiful Baskets eh? I shared an order with my mom for a couple of months but I just CAN'T make myself eat all of that. Some of mine were coming not quite ripe and by time they rippened they were leathery. I should give it another try.
I would definately encourage everyone to try this though. Especially if you life fruits and veggies!!
