Muffin Tin Monday - It's SOOOOO Easy Being Green!

Oh Green!!!
Such a great color to EAT!

Our tin had:
Green Goddess Dressing, Brussel Sprouts, Peas, Edamame
Broccoli, Guacamole Chips, Green Apple slices, Green Candy Melts
Pickles, clover marshmallows from Lucky Charms, Green Olives, Kiwi

We have worked hard over the years to brainwash our children into liking vegetables. It has been fun to hear them cheer when I announce that we will be having broccoli with dinner, or peas with lunch, or even edamame to snack on. Seriously - I have some odd children, but it took some work.

Anyhow, I think my heart broke just a little with this lunch. Just after the kids ate, Thing 2 came up to me and asked, "Mom, is it okay if I don't like Brussel Sprouts anymore?"

No, no, no ... say it isn't so!!!!

There's LOTS of green going on at:
Go check them all out!

Green Goddess is our fav. Except we didn't have any. My oldest will eat all that goodness. The youngest won't eat a single veggie...sigh.

What a great assortment of green food! I don't think I would like the brussel sprouts either.

It is so ok to not like brussell sprouts! They are among the very few vegetables I don't like. As always, so impressed with your creativity for these meals not to mention how much planning they must take.

I love having veggie-happy kids too... but even with the work I've done, they still have their preferences - after a few bites today, KarateKid swapped his cup full of raw broccoli for GoGoGirl's raw green pepper - but they each ate double of their favorite. I have never been able to sell Brussel sprouts, though.
