Muffin Tin Monday - Seeds

The theme this week was actually plants, flowers and seeds, but I am just focusing on one aspect ...

We had:
------------------------------------------------------------
cucumbers and tomatoes, and their seeds
(which the Boy thought looked like a butterfly - I guess they do)
Apples and seeds
Popcorn and seeds
Avacaod and it's pit
Edamame and the beans
and, my favorite, chocolate chip cookies and their seeds!

Now, when we plant our garden soon, the Boy might be able to make some associations between the seeds and what will be growing. But for today, he was a little puzzled. I like to keep them on their toes!

And the King just wanted to eat, no explanation necessary ... just hand over the food lady!

See what other cute creations are out there (I am sure there are some awesome flowers) at

Love it! I wanted to do more with seeds, but my brain was stuck. You went in the direction I really wanted to go. Thanks for the ideas.

I love the lesson you tied in. JDaniel would have just eaten the food too.

Ooo, I love the direction you took. Great idea. And I'm relieved to know that chocolate chips are seeds.

I just want to live in the world where if I plant a chocolate chip seed it will grown chocolate chip cookies. I could live with that! Good luck getting your garden planted. It won't quit snowing long enough for me to actually plant mine!
