What a Sight to Wake Up To ...

I have said it before and I'll say it again,

My Neighborhood is THE BEST!!!

This is what I saw first thing this morning:

Yep, that's me as a munchkin ... in triplicate!!!

Upon further inspection, I found that there was more, too:

The kids observed the whole thing with kicks and giggles ... (even if they look a little sleepy - they did just get out of bed ... ahhhhhhh)

Those lollipops were all over the place. Excuse the dry lawn and weeds ... but I have been focused on my basement for weeks now and my poor yard has been left to fend for itself!!!

The Birthday Banshees are very creative, everytime they get someone, they do something different. I don't even know where they pulling these ideas from - but this was funny!!!

And the true frugal scrapper in me couldn't help but take note of all the perfectly good (and cute) paper that went into this surprise:

(I could totally use that!!!)

And yes, there were actual lollipops included in all of this - aren't they cute?

Anyhow, those Birthday Banshees are the best kind of people there are!!! Thanks so much - you have helped get me b-day off to a sweet start!

Now, off to deal with the basement some more:

Getting everything put back in place (and LOTS of it just thrown OUT), makes me very happy. So I am actually very excited to get back to work on it. And to still pamper myself a bit today, I will not be doing more than pouring cereal and milk to feed my family (wait - they can do that themselves). Lunch and Dinner will be had somewhere else, prepared by someone else.

Hmmm, I keep hearing good things about 5 Guys Burgers and Fries ...

And then maybe a little shopping ...

Thanks for all the Birthday Wishes so far, it looks like a great day ahead!

This is one of the cutest things I've ever seen done for a birthday! What great friends you have. Hope you have a great birthday. Getting older isn't for sissies that's for sure. I am about a week behind you in the aging process:) Happy birthday.
