A Princess (Party) Shower

What do you do for a friend who has been raising twin boys over the past (almost) 6 years who is now going to have one little baby girl in a matter of weeks? A friend who has spent the last six years learning about trucks and dinosaurs and pokemons and legos? Do you leave her high and dry, not knowing a thing about what is about to come into her life?

OR do you prepare her and give her a crash course in being a true princess mommy?

Well, of course you go with the latter, and you do it in the form of a baby shower.

You make her show up to the party in a little t-shirt that clearly defines what is there in her womb.

You play some princess trivia games that end up teaching her quite a bit about all the princess we could think of. And while we're busy playing, two little boys are getting into the chocolate fountain and playing with the tiara.

And then you make sure she gets LOTS and LOTS of really cute princess worthy things to get this little gal off to a good start in this life.

And then you bring in the big guns!

The real McCoy.

The Princess of all princesses (yes, my personal favorite) ... to crown your friend ready to be a Princess Mommy!

And you catch your friend off-guard, she doesn't really know what to think, but she's so gracious she smiles the whole time!

And she even poses for a quick little snapshot to record this moment forever! And then you feel good because you have done your part in preparing your friend for the years of pink and purple and pearls and boas and crystals and sparkles and frills and lace and flowers and dresses that await ... but in all reality - she has no idea!!!

But she'll have so much fun along the way.
