"Beauty comes from a life well lived. If you've lived well, your smile lines are in the right places, and your frown lines aren't too bad. What more do you need?"
~ Jennifer Garner
I have to thank my friend Brittany for being quick enough to follow me into the kithen (with my camera) to snap a photo of me and my little guy. He couldn't keep himself away from the chocolate fountain that we had at the baby shower over the weekend. So, every once in a while he would come in the room and need a little wipe down. This time, though, he needed the kitchen sink and a change of clothes.
I am so glad this moment was captured, and honestly, I am not a big fan of getting my photo taken. But this one I love, it really captures what my life is like right now, and it captures me in it! That does not happen very often. Despite the constant state of messiness I am currently "enjoying", I love this crazy little 2 year old bag of trouble, and his siblings ... they keep me going like no other, but the entertainment factor is priceless. And there is lots of smiling going on ... so bring on those smile lines, I welcome you as a sign of a happy life.
(now the gray hairs ... not so much)
