Real Cheap Family Entertainment

Need some ideas on how to entertain your family on less than a dollar - you'll have them rolling on the floor with laughter. All you need is one tub of whipped topping (yeah, it's not the tastiest, but I always keep one in my freezer in case of emergency), a spoon and a silly husband. So, it all started Saturday when I heard reference to a key lime pie ---- that's all I needed, the idea stuck. So, Sunday I had to make one. Since I was working with what I had on hand, there was no fresh cream, so we had to pull the tub of goo out of the freezer to top our pie. We dished up the pie and gobbled it up FAST! (I Love Key Lime Pie!!!!) Well, hubby was cleaning off his plate and called Thing 1 over to give him a kiss. As she bent in to peck his cheek - he got her nose with some left over whipped topping. She thought it was so funny. So then he calls Thing 2 - now, she isn't as willing to comply (imagine that), but he at least gets her close enough to cover her nose. Then he starts working on the boy - he is very resistant, but laughing the whole time. His nose gets it too. The three of them end up laughing their heads off, running around, waiting for Daddy to get them again. The really funny thing is that this is not the first time this has happened. ANY time there has been whipped cream in the presence of Hubby, it ends up on someone's nose. Yet, they fall for it every time. They love it!
