Welcome to Candyland
WAHOO ... we love a party and we love when a party is OVER! This year I helped organize the Kindergarten Field Day. Thanks to Linsey's great idea we pursued the Candyland theme and made the Field Day activities coincide with the different stops on Candyland. Due to inclement weather, we had to have the activity indoors, but it was still very fun. We had a jumping tent and lots of other fun games, like pin the moustache on Lord Licorice, dig for golden peanuts and Gloppy's relay. At the end the kids had gathered enough goodies to make their own little Candyland Castles to take with them. It was a fun way to end the year - and it was a lot of work - so I am very glad it is over. (such a good attitude) Aren't the kids cute? I don't know how Kindergarten Teachers make it through all these goodbyes!
