What I Love Wednesday - Debbie

Here's to my big sis - she's the blondie (I'm the red). And that's my cute brother up there - he's still single ladies ... (oh, he's gonna get me for that).

She loves BIG SLOBBERY KISSES from her nephew.

She is an incredible aunt - even from all the way over in Australia (thanks Skype).

She is one of my closest friends.

I often turn to her for advice when life throws garbage my way and I need to figure out a good way to deal with it all.

She is beautiful.

She is spiritual.

Although I was an annoying and messy little sister, she still loves me. (I'm not so annoying to her anymore)

She is working to help my family actually be able to use words like "I Love You" as part of our regular conversation. (We all know we love each other, but heck if we have an easy time saying it.)

We became friends upon maturing, and she has been one of my dearest ever since.

She flunked out of a college math class when I returned home from Spain because I kept bugging her to go and do things with me.

She came all the way from Australia to my birthday party ;)

She took me to the spa before she went back to Australia.

She has always been a great example of being responsible and doing the right thing.

We like the same kinds of movies - we can always find something to do together.

She is a great shopping buddy.

She is just a great example for me in my life and I am so lucky to be her little sister and I miss her and can't wait until she moves back to the USA and that is why I have a little countdown for her already ticking away!

Deb - I love ya!

And maybe now she'll leave a comment on my blog ;)

Hope you're having a good day down there.

Aww, that is so sweet. My brother and I are very close too... he's one of my best friends... and now I have the privilege of his new wife being a good friend. The saying goes, "you can choose friends, but you can't choose family." So I think it's best to enjoy them!

I have the same story with my sisters. Once we grow up out of that adolescent stage something in us gravitates towards those who have to love us! I was wondering what the countdown was for. I bet you miss her something terrible.
