Muffin Tin Monday - What the???

Okay - so I wasn't sure what to do about Muffin Tin Lunch today since The Boy ended up eating a grilled cheese sandwich at 10am - I thought there was no way he would be hungry by lunchtime. Well - this is what I get for thinking ...

Around noon, I sat down with The King for a bit, trying to get him to nap. I could hear The Boy getting into things in the kitchen, and although that is never a good thing, The King really needed a nap, so I stuck it out with the little one.

Once The King was settled into his slumber, I followed the sounds to find The Boy and here he was:
In our spare room making his lunch. Lunch consisted of:
Unbroken (thank heavens for those little daily miracles) eggs in a strainer, sprinkled with baking soda.
Raisins and fish crackers.
That were also sprinkled with baking soda.
And the rest of the box of baking soda in my big tupperware bowl, with a sprinkling of raisins.
So, I grab him a little muffin tin and ask him if he wants to put together his own lunch. His eyes lit up and he got right to it.
This is his Muffin Tin Lunch -
This should go down as his favorite of all time.

I laughed soooo hard! that's awesome, jenny!!! I almost thought, just from the first photo, you might use the egg carton as a muffin tin!

That is priceless... and kudos for making it a positive experience for everyone!

I need to give my son the option of making his own... he's a sensible boy... I think only half the tin would be filled with marshmallows? :)
